Mission: Arte Fogata creates engaging art workshops for children living in at-risk and disadvantaged circumstances.
Arte Fogata is an art workshop project started by Robert Aitchison in 2014. It is currently operating twice a year in Bolivia.
Arte Fogata collaborates with existing organizations that operate in vulnerable communities, serving children susceptible to adverse social challenges such as homelessness, economic poverty, emotional and physical abuse, addiction, and trafficking.
Art workshops taught by Robert Aitchison, a Brooklyn NY based artist, offer children the opportunity to explore creativity and art making in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. With over 20 years of working with children in diverse circumstances and populations Aitchison understands the integral role creativity plays in helping children overcome barriers to personal growth and transformation.
